Terra Building Group is a residential developer and award winning builder whose niche is in custom designing homes. Terra is in the forefront of building LEED residential homes and is the only builder in Pittsburgh with certification to do so. In 2015, Terra completed the first two newly constructed, LEED-certified homes in the area.
Brett, a Pittsburgh native, holds an MBA with a specialization in Corporate Finance from California University of Pennsylvania, and Engineering from West Virginia University.
Brett is an active member of both the Mt. Washington CDC Economic Development Committee and the Builder’s Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh. He has provided LEED educational training sessions through the Green Building Alliance “Lunch and Learn” Program, Pittsburgh Rotary, and other building related media events. Some of the topics covered have included – Geothermal for Homes, The LEED Certification Process for Home Design and Construction, and Green Rating Systems for Homes Such as ENERGY STAR, and The NAHB National Green Building Program.
With over three decades of working in all aspects of construction from large commercial, institutional, government, and national residential builder/developers, Brett has had to troubleshoot every imaginable obstacle that can arise in building, and he speaks from first-hand experience.
